Get Behind our Diaper Drive
Please join Adore this holiday season in our community outreach serving My Sister’s House that is located right here in Atlanta! They are an overnight homeless shelter that accommodates both women and children that need a safe place to sleep at night. On your next visit to Adore, please support us in our very own “Diaper Drive” by donating a pack of baby diapers (size 4,5,6) and/or some wipes. We will be delivering all donations by 12/31/2019. A LITTLE ABOUT MY SISTER’S HOUSE
Any woman or mother experiencing homelessness in or around the Atlanta area has help available to them at My Sister’s House. At any given time, they can provide shelter for up to 264 guests. However, My Sister’s House provides more than just a safe place to sleep at night. My Sister’s House also works to meet some of the other immediate needs of those who stay here. The caring and compassionate staff address those needs by offering counseling and child care services as well as referrals for health and legal care. The staff also helps the residents find transitional housing and job training.
PERSONALIZED SERVICE FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Although My Sister’s House seeks to meet the basic needs of our guests, our staff also aims to provide customized care to every woman and child that walks in the door. Guests who stay at My Sister’s House have the opportunity to benefit from the full range of the services offered by Atlanta Mission, including:
